All the funds that we raise for The Halimah Trust will be going towards the building of The Halimah School of Excellence for Orphan girls in Wazirabad, Pakistan.

We feel this project is the perfect legacy to dedicate to the memory of Halimah Ahmed.  We started The Halimah Trust as a way to cope with our grief and to seek solace, however as we have progressed, the work and support has surpassed our expectations.  We are greatly inspired with the knowledge that countless needy people will be touched by the "magic of Halimah"

Please do take time to visit the Saffron Art website http://www.saffronart.co.uk/ which was something that Halimah had started herself.  Here you will be able to view the magnificent and beautiful aspects of nature, that Halimah captured through a camera lens.  If you like what you see you can purchase the images on canvas.  You can take some of the "magic of Halimah" into your home or office. 100% of the profits from Saffron Art will go towards the construction of The Halimah School of Excellence for orphan girls.

The cost of building phase I of the school will be £66,000, we have raised approximately  £80,000 (Oct 2009).  Phase II, which is the building of the second storey will cost £42,000.  The planned completion is April 2010 for phase I and July 2010 for phase II.
