The Halimah Trust will be working with estalished Charity Organisations to ensure the funds and gifts are put to best use. 

Here are a few examples of gifts that can be made:

To plant an olive tree costs  £10.  Olive trees give fruit and provide food, oil and medicine for hundres of years. 

4 egg laying hens cost £16. Chickens are great value. Each one can lay over 200 eggs a year, providing poor families with protein in their diet and by selling any extra eggs a small income can be earnt to help pay for schooling, clothes and medicine.

£20 for a school kit. Kit out needy students with new clothes, school bags and stationary to give them a helping hand on starting their life of learning.

£25-£35 per month can sponsor an orphan

£550 for a water well.  Improve the wellbeing of an entire community. Safe water is vital to maintaining good health and helps save lives. These large community wells also help agriculture and livestock flourish.

£1600. We all know the saying "Give a man a fish and he eats today, teach a man to fish and he feeds himself for the rest of hs life." Here is your chance to buy fishing boats for tsunami-hit villages in Indonesia and Sri Lanka.

£3000. A unique project providing much needed educational facilities to needy communities. By building a classroom you provide something that will be functional for generations to come.
